Description
Central is one of five middle schools in Quincy. Central has a proud history that goes back over one hundred years. Central Middle School is located just outside of Quincy Center at 1012 Hancock St. Built in 1894, Central was the original site of Quincy's first high school. In 1924, the building serviced the school system as a junior high school and in 1982, Central became one of Quincy's middle schools. We are happy to host the advanced placement program for the city.
